How to scan all 22 questions in the first two minutes and sort them into solve-now, come-back and leave, before you have invested time in any of them.
Option elimination, approximation and back-substitution: when each one is faster than solving from scratch, and when it is a trap.
The attempt-and-accuracy combinations that actually produced 95, 99 and 99.5 percentiles in Quant in recent CATs, and which one you should target.
Which Quant areas pay back the most marks per hour of practice between now and the test, and which ones to stop revising.
Live Q&A in the last 15 minutes. Bring your last mock's Quant score.
The problem
Five minutes sunk into a hard question you eventually leave is two easy questions you never reached. Selection, not speed, is the biggest lever you have left.
With +3 for a right MCQ and −1 for a wrong one, three careless attempts wipe out one solid one. Attempts only help at the accuracy you can actually hold.
You are not trying to finish the paper. You are trying to make better decisions than everyone else in the same 40 minutes. That is a skill, and it can be practised.
